The Real Rails Train Show will open exclusively to convention guests at 10a.m. on Sunday, one hour before it opens to the public. There you will find vendors of railway artifacts and memorabilia, as well as Canadian prototype railway model manufacturers. There are sure to be items you've never seen but always wanted. This will be your opportunity to finally acquire them and beat the rush to make sure you get them!

Still looking for more fun? Whether you're going east or west along Hwy 401 on your way home, visit one of the large prototype-specific model railway clubs, open exclusively for us. You MUST wear your Real Rails name badge to gain entrance to either.
Don't miss the York Railway Modellers Club at 5 Oakland Ave. in North York, open Sunday from noon to 3pm. A few minutes north of the 401, the railroad covers more than 1600 sq.ft. and depicts operations with equipment of the mid-1950s with over 13 scale miles of mainline representing CNR and CPR operations in Ontario from Lambton Yard in West Toronto to London. You'll want to go north of the 401 and Hwy. 7 to visit the Waterloo Region Model Railway Club, 1589 Maryhill Rd. (Woolwich Township Rd. #56) approx. 1 km. north of the village of Maryhill. It will be open from noon to 5pm. Its 2,000 sq.ft. layout accurately re-creates the operations of CP Rail's Sudbury Division in HO scale as they existed during the 1970s. The Windsor Model Railroad Club will be opening their layouts on the Monday after Real Rails and offering a BBQ around 4 pm. If you plan to attend please pre-register so that they can order enough food. You can take VIA from Oakville or Aldershot to Windsor and they will pick you up and return you to the station on time to catch your train back to Toronto. The Club is at 2109 Ottawa St., Windsor ON.
